Session Highlights, with Artist: Describe

So last wednesday night a close friend of mine who runs an amazing web development company called Creative complex, told me to check out his latest client’s website.  The website loads and to my surprise I see a hasidic jewish man named Describe dropping some mad skills.  This kind of reminded me of when I was first introduced to Matis Yahu, it looks like i was about to corner the Hasdic market, lol.  But I did see how this artist had his own style and wasn’t really walking in mati’s shadow.  As a matter of fact they have even done a song together which loaded up on a youtube channel the moment I viewed the website.  So I contacted the artist and we chatted on the phone for a while and next thing I know two days later he gets on a plane to Miami and we crank out three songs in three days.

I wasn’t sure what to expect on our first session so I played describe a couple of tracks  I had lying around on my hard drive that I thought would be a good fit for him, and he loved the very first track I played, so that started the whole project.

I would like to think the direction I had in mind and went for was a mix between lupe fiasco and Damian Marley.  It was definitely alot of fun working with him and I look forward to producing more tunes with him in the future.
